I picked up the Black and Nude Rimmel ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Liners a couple of weeks ago... "waterproof" though? Questionable.
Whilst I can't deny the creamy, pigmented formula of these is pretty lovely, without a smidge of pulling or tugging during application, I've actually been pretty disappointed by these eyeliners... because in the waterline, they are certainly not waterproof, and I don't think they're particularly long-lasting.
I've tried applying the black liner in the upper waterline (this is called tightlining and is a great trick to create thicker looking lashes), then waiting a little while before applying the nude pencil in the lower one, but I've found that, without fail, the black liner transfers to my lower waterline in the space of a few blinks.
As an alternative for tightlining, the L'Oréal Paris Super Liner Gel Intenza is actually waterproof and long-lasting, plus it dries quickly without a hint of transfer upon blinking... and as for the lower waterline? I rather like the colour of the Nude liner, and haven't seen anything like it amongst other budget makeup ranges, so I'll continue to use it until I find a suitable (...and cheap) alternative... even if I do have to top it up every so often.
Rimmel ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Liners is priced at £3.99 and available at Boots.
