The Frizz Ease Nourishing Oil Elixir* is a new release from John Frieda, and claims to tame even the frizziest of manes, making it up to 50% healthier and smoother, thanks to its key ingredient of Argan Oil. The product can be applied to wet or dry hair, and you're advised to use 1 pump through the lengths for the best results.
So onto my thoughts: well, the oil itself is great. One pump is certainly not enough on my long hair, so I've been using 2-3, and smoothing this through my wet tresses before moving onto blow-drying. It is quickly absorbed, and leaves my locks really soft and glossy. I personally find it too heavy to use on dry hair, and if you make the mistake of applying a little too much... well let's just say there's a pretty fine line between frizz-free and oily.
Whilst this product is undeniably lovely, I'm a big fan of cutting the chase and using a pure, natural oil on my thick hair rather than a product which is 'enriched' with one. But if your hair is too fine to take oils in their natural form, this John Frieda product is a gem.
John Frieda Frizz Ease Nourishing Oil Elixir is priced at £9.99 and available at Boots.
