L'Oréal Paris Color Riche Nails in Perle de Jade.

I'm not one to neglect a drugstore offer now... am I?

The standard, "I need dental floss," trip to Boots usually means I come out with some sort of beauty product... or in this case 3 (in my defence, I only had to pay for 2 of them).

I'll share the other 2 with you another time, but right now it's all about the L'Oréal Paris Color Riche Nail Polish in Perle de Jade... a gorgeous pastel-hued turquoise that has been adorning my nails rather frequently these last 2 weeks.

I love the chic packaging, which makes the product look a little more high-end and pricey than it actually is.

In terms of the product, I really like the brush, which glides over the nail effortlessly... 2 coats of polish looked somewhat streaky, however a third coat solved this little problem and left a lovely glossy finish to my nails. I was seriously impressed at how quickly the polish dries... especially good for me, seeing as I am one of those people who always needs to do something fidgety having just applied a fresh coat of polish.

The staying power isn't wonderful, and the colour lasted about 2 days before starting to chip. I do think the formula needs a little tweaking... but I'll let it slide as I'm kinda obsessed with the colour.

L'Oréal Paris Color Riche Nails are priced at £4.99 and available at Boots.
