If you read my blog regularly, you'll know that I'm about to state the obvious here: my hair is massive, and there's rather ...
I've proclaimed myself of something of a skincare snob, but unfortunately my bank balance doesn't really support my love of Emma Hardie, Origins and Alpha H to form the entirety of my routine.
However, my most recent toner choice had been something of a mistake: the mid-price La Roche Posay Clarifying Lotion (an exfoliating toner) had my skin dried out to a crisp, so I decided to find a cheaper alternative... and the Botanics All Bright Cleansing Toner took my fancy because it, too, had an exfoliative (is that even a word?!) nature to it with its ingredient of natural AHAs (alpha-hydroxy acids).
I've been using it for a few months now and have been seriously impressed with this product. Although it contains alcohol in its formula, it's not remotely stripping of precious moisture, and leaves my complexion feeling super fresh. The AHAs also help to keep pesky pore congestion at bay and I have to say I do think it has brightened my skin's dullness.
This is a great little product and it has left my skin cleaner, smoother and brighter. Win-win... win!
Botanics All Bright Cleansing Toner is priced at £3.99 and available at Boots.
