Anyway... we're on the home stretch of the year, and with the weather turning somewhat cold and grey the last few weeks, my September Favourites have been a little more on the Autumn/Winter appropriate side of things...
It's pretty safe to say I've been around the foundation block.... I always try out other (disappointing) bases in a bid to find something better and as a result, my trusty L'Oréal Paris True Match Foundation gets forgotten.
I've rediscovered this wonderful foundation this month and I'm making a vow here and now that I will remain faithful to it... read all about why I love it so much right here.
The NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer has been my favourite discovery this month - it's the perfect match to my skin (as opposed to that Collection concealer which comes out pink on me!), is super blendable and long-lasting.... I've already written a rather lengthy ode to it here.
With my tan from July just beginning to fade (#perksofbeingindian), I've been loving the NARS Bronzing Powder in Casino (review here) to inject a little colour into my face - just because it's autumn, doesn't mean you can't rock a healthy glow!
I've begun to feel slightly weird adorning my eyelids with pink shadow... a little on the summery side, no? I've totally changed up my makeup look for Autumn and the Maybelline EyeStudio Color Tattoo in 'On and On Bronze' has been sat on my lids most of the month. Not too shimmery, but not too dull, this colour makes for the perfect daytime smokey eye... but more about that very soon.
Finally; a perfume. My all-time favourite Alexander McQueen My Queen is becoming increasingly difficult to track down, so I decided it was high-time to find a new signature scent... I first saw (or rather, sniffed) Elie Saab Le Parfum in Paris (la-dee-dah) last year - I finally got my mitts on it and it's such a beautiful scent.... I'll post a full review soon!
