NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer.

Every beauty blogger and their aunt raves about Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer and whilst I did use it in My Everyday Makeup Tutorial (in the shade 'Deep'), I find it far too pink to work with my Indian skintone... and I've found a similar problem with the majority of concealers available in the drugstore.

You see, most of us have yellow undertones to our skin, and this applies to Caucasian skintones too... so it completely baffles me as to why I see only pink-tinged cover up in the aisles of Boots and Superdrug.

Enough was enough. Earlier this week, I ventured into Space NK (where I was served by possibly the most lovely sales assistant ever) and walked out with a little black bag of NARS filled goodness...

Frankly, I'm kicking myself that I resisted buying the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer until now... I only got it this week, and I'm seriously in love with it already. I was matched to the shade 'Ginger,' which has a definite golden undertone to it (thank the Lord).

For £21.00, the tube is huge... and I can just tell it will last me forever. It packs some serious coverage, and can be used on dark under-eye circles and blemishes alike. Normally, I advocate the use of 2 different concealers - a brightening one for under the eyes, and a buildable one for unsightly spots... I'm not all too sure how, but this product manages to be both buildable and brightening, making this concealer worth every single penny of those twenty one pounds.

It also blends like an absolute dream, and can be layered up without a hint of 'cake-face'... plus, I've found it works especially well with the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer for those of you that favour a dewy finish to your complexion... *raises hand*

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is priced at £21.00 and available at Space NK.

  1. Ahhh if only NARS was in budget for me - I love my Collection Lasting Perfection endlessly, but I have very yellowy undertones too and am relying on what is left of my tan to keep me at a shade 3 (medium) for as long as possible, seeing as it's more yellow toned...once Winter arrives and I get paler I'll be worried boooo :(

  3. Nars is so amazing in shades! I feel if you're going to buy it, you may as well spend a little extra and buy something that's perfect! Thanks for the recommendation - glad that someone with an indian skintone can relate! ;) xoxo

  4. I find a similar problem with the Deep shade of Lasting Perfection, just way too pink! I've been eyeing up the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer too, I've heard that Maybelline Fit Me concealer is a decent dupe for it but without the excellent shade range!
