Currently Coveting #1.

Why is it when you have no money, you seem to need (okay... want) loads of things - I have my eye on so many beauty goodies at the moment. Unfortunately, even purchasing one of them would do unspeakable damage to my already sad-looking bank balance.

And so, out of my misery, came Currently Coveting - a post I'll be writing every so often telling you all the things I desperately want, but probably shouldn't get.

This went straight to the top of the list when I saw that makeup goddess Lisa Eldridge had written about it in her latest blog post, Seven Summer Reds. Nowadays, I'm consistently plumping for a bold lip over a strong eye, so I'd love to add this to my ever growing lipstick collection.

Yep, even more NARS. I already have something of a soft spot for their tinted moisturiser, eyeshadow and blush, and have been dying to try this foundation out after seeing the likes of Tanya Burr, Zoella and Millie Mackintosh raving about it. Apparently, it gives your complexion a 'your skin but better' look complete with natural, dewy finish - I'm sold.

Probably the dreamiest eyeshadow duo I've ever seen... (insert heart-eyed smiley here). The pearlescent gold/pink shade along with the darker, aubergine shade would create a gorgeous, day-friendly smokey-eye, which would look especially good on us brown-eyed gals... I've come so close to purchasing this on numerous occasions... however, it 's constantly out of stock both in-store and online.

My skin's become rather dehydrated of late - I went and had a look at this moisture boosting product in-store, and I can tell you now, it smells incredible! I'm a massive fan of the Drink Up Overnight Intensive Mask and Super Spot Remover - Origins is definitely a brand that delivers, so I've no doubt this treatment will be worth every single penny.

I've wanted a Shimmer Brick for longer than I care to remember - I think this one would look great paired with my current blush of choice this summer. Although I'm fairly convinced that, if ever did buy a Shimmer Brick, I'd actually be afraid to use it - look how purdy it is!

This has been on my wishlist ever since I had a cheeky spritz of it in Galleries Lafayette (Paris) last summer: yes, I've wanted it that long. I'm rubbish at describing scents, so you'll probably have to go and try it out yourself to get a feel for what it smells like, but it really is rather lovely.

What beauty items are you currently coveting?

  1. I love the look of the bronze shimmerbrick as opposed to the rose one - but in all honesty would have both/either in a heart beat haha :p

    Holly Mixtures

    1. Unfortunately bronzer tends to look quite 'muddy' on my Indian skintone, else I'd love that one too!

      Ambi xx

  2. Haha, I like the title of this post so much! Do you mind if I copy the idea and start making post like this? :) By the way, I heard great things about Origins Make A Difference Plus+ Rejuvenating Treatment <3

    1. Hi Sierra - yes that's fine... as my post has inspired yours though, would appreciate you mentioning this blog & this post when you write it! Thanks x

  3. I love Origins moisturisers, always worth the extra pennies!

    1. I'm a massive fan of the Drink Up Moisture Mask so I'm soooo tempted by it! x
