A couple of months ago, I was on the hunt for a medium coverage foundation with a dewy finish... and I found it. I then promised to writ...
I recently did something I never, ever thought I'd do... I, the die-hard blush addict, bought a bronzer. For too long I saw no need ...

Happy June, ladies! The beginning of a new month means it's about time I told you about all my favourite beauty bits from the last couple of weeks. April Favourites completely slipped my mind amidst pre-exam madness, so this post is a bit of a bumper edition!
First up: skincare.
The Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask has been a godsend; after years and years of being a thoroughly oily skinned gal, I've begun to notice dry patches appearing around my nose and cheeks. This moisture-boosting treatment has been great for blasting away stubborn, flaky areas and leaving my skin super smooth and plumped-up.
I've also been loving the Avene Eau Thermal Water Spray - a spritz of this on a freshly made-up complexion, followed by a little light buffing with a clean, fluffy powder brush rids any trace of the dreaded 'cake face,' and helps make my base look a little less 'done.'
Onto makeup, and I've been opting for Bobbi Brown Blush in Apricot on the cheeks now the weather's got a little warmer, along with the beautiful L'Oréal Paris Rouge Caresse in Rock 'N Mauve (see it in action here) on the lips - they are an absolute dream when worn together, and the blush, I've been told, makes my skin look "radiant and youthful" - as quoted from one of those clipboard-wielding sorts that lurk around shopping centres (...and are normally avoided at all costs). Yes, she was probably only being nice to me so I'd listen to her blurb about adopting a polar bear, or answer her questions about car insurance... but I'll take any compliment thrown my way, thank you very much.
I've also been loving the L'Oréal Paris Lumi Magique Pure Light Primer for dewy, fresh-looking skin along with the gorgeous NARS And God Created The Woman Palette for creating soft, subtly-defined eyes - I'm desperately trying my wean myself off winged liner, and this set has been making my cat flick detox just that little bit more bearable.
Finally, hair: L'Oréal Paris EverRiche No Sulphates Nourishing Intense Mask* is, quite literally, great hair in a tub - I've been using it once a week for a little while now, and it's been making my tresses super soft and shiny... I'll post a review of the entire EverRiche range very soon.
Between treatments, I try and keep my hair in tip-top condition by smoothing in a little Dabur Amla Hair Oil into the wet mid-lengths. I harped on about amla oil in my very first beauty post... but if some of you were a little late to the Bombay Rose party, here's a recap: this is the secret to Indian girls' glossy, healthy locks. It smells wonderful, is cheaper and, put simply, so much better than Moroccan Oil (which, FYI, is full of nasty additives... you're paying all that money for laboratory-made chemicals!)
