Autumn/Winter 2012/13 Trends: Men's.

Last week, I told the ladies the trends to be seen in this Autumn/Winter... and now it's the boys' turn! So whether you're a lady reading on behalf of your friend, boyfriend or brother (or maybe you're a male reader - I know of a few of you do exist!), enjoy!

Boys, yellow is the key colour for the next season - lemons and mustards were spotted at Roberto Cavalli (above), Lanvin and Paul Smith to name but a few.

Whilst I admire the bravado of a yellow suit (more about this in a second...), I'm not sure it's the most versatile of options - I think this ASOS Cable Jumper, £30.00 is a perfect and fashionable way to embrace this season's hottest colour... on an entirely personal note, my dad will be thrilled to see this trend, because he will think he can now wear his mustard suit without being met by my disgust... please don't wear it Pa, for all our sakes.

Designer collections were showing lots of tailoring, with double-breasted coats being showcased on several catwalks. Fortunately, I've found a very wallet-friendly option!

This Topman Wool Peacoat comes in at a mere £85.00 - opting for a coat in a neutral colour like grey is a smart move for optimum number of wears this Autumn/Winter.

Scarves
Scarves are the ultimate accessory for you boys this season, and were seen at Louis Vuitton and Salvatore Ferragamo.

I think this Barbour Tartan Scarf, £25.00 would make for a great choice - it's made of lambs wool so will keep you nice and warm, too!

Claret

Echoing the ladies' trend of 'berry', claret and similar colours were seen all over the men's collections.

These Burgundy Cord Trousers from Boohoo.com would be bang-on trend this season (and at £20.00, they're not going to damage your bank balance too much either!).

Investing in a couple of these key items would be a great way to update your wardrobe, and hopefully they'll be things you'll dig out again come AW13/14!
